Navigating through Chronic pain and its impact can be challenging...

Some people have overwhelming chronic pain, while others, less.  
Every circumstance differs and thus, cookie-cutter pain management
strategies may help in a broad sense, but not be particularly effective
on a day to day basis, just navigating life.

While I have no miraculous cure or outlandish pain resolution claims to
offer, I have lived through horrific chronic pain of varying degrees of

In the course of this long time span, I came to develop a survival
approach, one that took hold via unplanned observations and
journaling, much trial and error, and many, many mistakes. It is a
chronic-pain-coping-with-reality strategy, maximizing helpful
behaviors, and reducing and eliminating those that don't. This insight
is what I can offer you to assist in your journey. To help you get
started, I offer thought-provoking, targeted, individualized, one-to-
one sessions to identify and address your specific needs, goals,
obstacles, and objectives, and will work with you to develop a
strategic plan to help you turn goals into action and results where
plausible.


Targeted One-To-One Sessions:

         an action plan that takes your unique needs
         and circumstances into account.

         better life by identifying your specific
         roadblocks, then utilizing this information to
        devise functional strategies with which to
         most effectively respond to these challenges.


I conduct these sessions thoughtfully and patiently, and offer my
experiences as long term, multi-condition chronic pain survivor, in
conjunction with my formal experience as health counselor and fitness
educator in professional settings.

Sessions can be conducted via the modality that best suits you, be it
phone, instant messaging, email, or if you reside in the New York City
area, in person if you prefer.

If you are not satisfied with your session, you may contact me within
24 hours of your session to request a 50% refund of amount paid.


To Pay Via Secure Online Payment:

Choose your desired length of session as described below, and click
on the corresponding link to PayPal, Inc., which will take you to
secure payment processing on their website. When your order has
been processed, you will receive a receipt from them, sent to the
email address you provide.

1 - How Can I Best Be Prepared For My Session...?

Since the session's purpose is to help you reach your goals in your journey toward a better life, grant yourself opportunity to maximally benefit.
Therefore, try to create an environment free from distractions or others who might interrupt.

Additionally, since it's to your advantage to mindfully participate, be present and focused, and think ahead. Maximize opportunity. Think about what you
want out of life...ponder your pain and its impact, formulate your goals relative to it. Be open and ready to honestly approach your situation so that
together we brainstorm how to best get you moving toward your goals and develop an effective strategy to help get you there.


2 - How Do I Schedule A Session...?

Simply contact Esther either by phone or email to make arrangements. Session can be conducted either via phone, Instant Message, or in-person if you
live in the NYC vicinity.


3 - If Our Session Is Conducted Over The Phone, Who Makes The Call...?

You do. However, if you will incur long-distance charges and live within continental U.S., I will.


4 - Is There A Money Back Guarantee...?

Yes there is. If you are not satisfied with your session, you may request a 50% refund within 24 hours.


5 - If I Pay By Personal Check, Do I Have To Wait Until That Check Clears Before I Can Participate In A Session...?

As long as your account is in good-standing, you will only have to wait for check clearance the first time you pay for any Pain-Pal session. Any additional
sessions can proceed without delay when your payment is received.

If your account is not in good-standing,  payment must clear prior to the session. In either scenario, you will be notified via email when receipt/clearance
occurs.


8 - What If Either of Us are Unable To Start Our Session On Time...?

Your time slot is scheduled for you only and so that alloted time is yours. If you're running late, please notify Esther as soon as possible either via phone
or email. Please try to begin your session as soon as you can thereafter as it's not Pain-Pal policy to extend time beyond what was set aside, although will
be made to accommodate you where feasible.

Should Esther be unable to begin on time, you'll be notified as soon as possible and be given the option of either extending the session beyond its
original time if you prefer and additional time is available, or you may opt to participate in a shortened session and receive a pro-rated refund equal to
the amount of time lost plus an additional 10% for the inconvenience.


7 - What If I Need To Cancel A Scheduled Session...?

If you're unable to partake in your session, simply contact Esther either by phone or email at least 24 hours in advance. Please do so even if this advance
notice falls on the weekend when no active Pain-Pal hours occur.

Please be sure to follow up during the week to reschedule your session.

If you opt not to reschedule, but cancel your original appointment at least 24 hours in advance, Pain-Pal will refund your pre-paid fee, minus a 5.5%
handling charge if payment was made by check or money order, and a 10% charge if payment was made via PayPal.


8 - What If I Need To Cancel My Session With Less Than 24 Hours Notice. Let's Suppose I'm In Too Much Pain And Am Just Not Up To
Participating...?

Life happens, and things do indeed come up...especially with chronic pain. Ideally, the goal is for you to get the most out of your session, and certainly if
you're not feeling up to it, it might not be as productive, although sometimes great gain can be derived when least expected.

Though all of us with chronic pain understand how plans can be snuffed in an instant, Pain-Pal however still needs to maintain a steady semblance of
order.  Therefore, Pain-Pal will charge a 15% cancellation fee when notice is given less than 24 hours in advance, provided that you reschedule your
session.
If you do not reschedule, please be aware that Pain-Pal doesn't offer refunds for sessions cancelled with less than 24 hour notice.


9 - What If Esther Needs To Cancel A Session...?

Hopefully this will be unnecessary, but given chronic pain, should a cancellation be necessary, the same parameters that apply to you, will also apply to
Pain-Pal. You're entitled to 24 hour advance notice, but if not, you will be refunded 15% of the amount you pre-paid, should you choose to reschedule. If
you opt not to, your money will be fully refunded.


10 - Are There Circumstances In Which You Might Not Offer Additional Strategic Action Planning Sessions To Me Even Though I'd Like To
Continue With These...?

Hopefully, there will be no need to do so, but Pain-Pal reserves the right not to offer sessions or services to anyone who, in Pain-Pal's opinion, misuses or
abuses Pain-Pal offerings.
